Four individual portraits, HMSs Téméraire, Inflexible, Alexandra, & Monarch. The first three by Wells, chief marine artist for the ILN, 1873-83, the last-named is by E. Weedon "of whom nothing is known" [Houfe], Wells's predecessor who held the post from 1848-72, and probably did this drawing at the time of the ship's launch in 1868.
