Nadine Gordimer (1923-2014) was a South African writer and political activist known for her writing that documented apartheid in the country, and was also the recipient of the 1991 Nobel Prize in literature. The present volume was the first of her works to be published in South Africa.

Previous ownership inscription to front pastedown, else unmarked internally. Discolouration to head and foot of spine, slight wear to extremities. Loss to dust jacket extremities, particularly head and foot of spine, some associated creasing, toning to flaps; overall very good.
