One of 200 copies; this no. 99 and additionally inscribed by the editor to Orwell scholar Ian Angus on front free endpaper: "To Ian, With many thanks for all your help. Michael Shelden June 30, 1984." Very rare; no copies in commerce traced.

Provenance: From the library of Orwell scholar and former UCL deputy librarian Ian Angus. Angus was the co-editor of Orwell's Collected Journalism, Essays and Letters published in 1968 and also later contributed to editing the enormous 20-volume edition of Orwell's Complete Works published 1997-8.
