First edition. 8vo. Original blue cloth, spine and cover lettered in gilt, dust jacket. New York, Random House, 1958.
In 1925 Faulkner spent six months living in New Orleans, during that time he wrote short 'sketches' which were published in the Times-Picayune, and the New Orleans literary magazine The Double Dealer. These sketches are printed here for the first time in book form.
A very good copy, in lightly worn and nicked dust jacket.
