KING (Martin Luther).
Stride Towards Freedom. The Montgomery Story.

King's memoir on the Montgomery bus boycott, a key event in the American civil rights movement, which lasted from 5 December 1955 to 20 December 1956. The boycott led to the US Supreme Court declaring in Browder v. Gayle that segregation on public transportation was illegal.

A very good copy. Dust jacket toned at spine and edges, small tear to front cover repaired with sellotape. A few foxed spots to endpapers and fore edge.
