Very good, spine sunned as is nearly inevitable with fragile red vellum, slight creasing to vellum covers, internally fine.

One of the smallest Ashendene limitations on vellum, nearly half the edition held by institutional libraries. Both a fine example of Ashendene printing, Santa Chiara, along with the Rubaiyat, also marked in Colin Franklin's opinion the only two serious critical editions of a text issued by the press.
