The hospital is viewed from the river, the landing steps more or less central in the foreground, the perspective extends to the observatory which stands on the hill in the distant background. In the close foreground there are a number of small craft, sailing and rowing and from a skiff at the left-hand side a red-coated gentleman is casting his net in the hope of... ?
