The third instalment of catalogues on the theme of mingei (folk crafts).
The Mingei Movement in Japan began in the 1920s and focused on what the founder and theorist Yanagi Soetsu called 'the beauty of everyday objects'. This catalogue includes works by seven key figures, who were either directly involved in the Mingei Movement or inspired by it. The final section features a handful of books on the theme of Japanese paper-making.
